ICT DAY 2017

On the occasion of National ICT Day, Department of Information Technology (DoIT) and CAN Federation conferred ICT Awards on individual and an organization for their contribution to the field of information communication technology (ICT).
National ICT Excellence Award was awarded to Mr. Manohar Kumar Bhattarai. Similarly, the Best User in the Private Sector Award was awarded to the InfoDevelopers Pvt. Ltd. and the Best User in the Public Sector Award was awarded to the Supreme Court of Nepal. Chief Guest, Hon'ble Science & Technology Minister Prem Bahadur Singh handed over the awards to the winner.

Supreme Court, as the most superior court of Nepal, is recognised as a court of record. At present, 16 Appellate Courts, 75 District Courts and other judicial authorities like Debt Recovery Tribunal, Revenue Tribunal, Administrative Court, Labour Court, Foreign Employment Tribunal and Special Court are discharging the duties of justice dispensation in Nepal.
